By the grace of Thakur-Ma-Swamiji, “Swami Aksharananda Bhavan” at Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Uttar Rowail, Mirzapur, Tangail, Bangladesh was inaugurated by Revered Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka along with Revered Swami Visheshawaranandaji Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Mission, Comilla. The other 6 Revered Sadhus were present along with 500 plus devotees from far & nearby many villages. Revered Swamijis expressed their highest satisfaction with the newly constructed Bhavan & it’s modern facilities and sincere passion & spiritual hunger by villagers in these remote areas. Our 175 students from Swami Swahanandaji Free Coaching Center at Ashrama presented their best performance. Everyone was moved. This is a Vivekananda Study & Philanthropic Center of New York’s new project. It was all possible due to daily guide by Revered Shaktinathanandaji (Nikhil Maharaj), Head of Ramakrishna Mission, Chittagong, and dedicated selfless work by Revered Vivek Maharaj and his team of volunteers, utmost cooperation from Engineer Dipankar Pandit of Dhaka and Engineer Swapan Paul of LGED. We are grateful to all of them. We are also very much thankful to all our donors who came forward and made it happen. Our Respectful Sastanga pranams and gratitude towards Most Revered President Mahararaj Srimat Swami Smarananandaji and Honorable General Secretary Maharaj Revered Swami Suviranandaji of Belur Math, Revered Swamis Chetananandaji, Head of St. Louis, Missouri & Sarvadevanandaji, Head of Hollywood, California for sending us their blessings message either by written message or video speech to grace this inauguration ceremony.

Revered Swami Aksharanandaji was the main architect of our Vivekananda Center New York and a personal mentor for me, naming this Bhavan after him, is our sincere gratitude towards Revered Maharajji!
In addition, we have created several Memorial Funds and other Funds in honor of Revered Swamijis and other Householder devotees who always inspired us and supported us in our humble service efforts since 1995.
